West Ham United are becoming increasingly desperate to find a taker for misfiring striker Modibo Maiga  – currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers.
The Mali international has been a massive flop at Upton Park since his 5 million switch from Sochaux and has managed only four appearances since joining the Championship club.
Now West Ham have an army of agents at work in France trying to organise a move for the player who has managed only three goals in 31 appearances.
The player is believed to be earning around 30,000 a week and FootballDirectNews.com belives that QPR are footing half fof that during his loan spell. But any extension of the loan or of a permanent deal being done looks highly unlikely with Rangers boss Harry Redknapp declaring recently that the player “has to make me want to pick him. “An Upton Park source told us that with two years left on his Boleyn Ground contract the club needed to find a club for the player.
He explained exclsuively: “Modibo has been a massive disappointment. We will expect to take a big hit on the buying price but we have people working on the situation. “
