Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has insisted Man United target Paul Pogba is better than he was.  The Juventus star has been strongly linked with a move back to Old Trafford in the summer after his agent demanded a release clause was put into his contract with the Serie A club – putting United on red alert.
And compatriot Vieira, now manager of Man City reserves, thinks the 20-year-old will have a career right at the top of the game.  Compared to me, Pogba is more attacking, whereas I was more defensively-minded,” Vieira told Tuttosport. “He pushes forward more and therefore scores more goals. He is also better on a technical level and is certainly more talented than I was. “He is a player capable of scoring 10 to 15 goals every year. In a three-man midfield I think it suits his style of football. ” Pogba famously fell out with then United manager Alex Ferguson after the Scot refused to play him in a League Cup match despite a spate of injuries.   The Turin star has been a revelation since leaving United on a free transfer with some reports now claiming the Old Lady would demand as much as 170m for the player.
