Paris Saint-Germain will turn their attention to Arturo Vidal if they fail to land his Juventus teammate Paul Pogba, according to reports in Italy.

The Parisian side are looking for a complete central midfielder to further strengthen their side and the Chilean box-to-box midfielder is a prime candidate.

Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has former-Manchester United Paul Pogba as his first choice and is willing to spend above the odds to land him, but the club is preparing alternatives with Vidal thought to be next in line.

Following the recent comments made by Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, it seems as though the Frenchman’s representative prefers a move to Real Madrid.

In an interview with Tuttosport, Raiola admitted that “if a crazy offer arrives one day for him and for Juve, well, we would assess it all together. Per se, a crazy bid from Real Madrid, rather than another top European club”.

With that in mind PSG will entertain an offer for the Chilean midfielder who has been in impeccable form since his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen for £11million.
