Manchester United winger Nani is reportedly set to turn down a move to Serie A outfit Inter Milan. According to FC Inter News, the Portugal international will only consider leaving Old Trafford if he can join a club participating in next season’s Champions League. While Walter Mazzarri’s side could still sneak in to Europe’s biggest club competition they are by no means guaranteed to make it, as they trail fourth-placed Fiorentina by two points. Mazzarri’s own future is under scrutiny after an inconsistent campaign, while the report in Italy also claims that the San Siro giants would struggle to meet Nani’s salary demands. The wideman has found first-team chances hard to come by at United due to a combination of injuries and a lack of form, although his situation could change depending on the identity of the champions’ next manager. Boss David Moyes was sacked earlier this week following a torrid campaign, with Ryan Giggs taking over on a temporary basis.
