Manchester United will make a move for sought after Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez in the summer, according to Tutto Mercato Web. David Moyes is looking for defensive reinforcements with Nemanja Vidic set to leave the club at the end of the season, while Rio Ferdinand could call it a day after an injury hit campaign. Martinez has been a regular inclusion in Sociedad’s back four starting 28 league games this season, scoring two goals in the process. He was a key part of Spain’s back four which won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2013 and could be open to a move away. The Red Devils have Vidic, Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling in the central defending position.
