Manchester United target Eliaquim Mangala had a hugely impressive game for FC Porto against Sevilla in their quarter-final Europa League first-leg on Thursday. Mangala scored an excellent diving header to give Porto a 1-0 lead to take with them to Andalusia next week. The 23-year old Frenchman has been in sensational form for the Portuguese giants this campaign and will be the subject of intense interest in the summer transfer window. Manchester United are reportedly hot on the heels of the centre-back as they look to fill the huge void to be left by captain Nemanja Vidic who is off to Inter Milan in the summer. United will not be alone in their attempt to sign the talented Frenchman with a series of other top European clubs monitoring his progress. Mangala joined Porto in 2011 for a fee of 5million from Belgian side Standard Liege but his performances at the Portuguese club over the years mean the club will demand a far greater sum to part ways with their key defender.
