Manchester United will look to secure a swap deal with Javier Hernandez heading to Inter Milan while Fredy Guarin goes the other way, FootballDirectNews.com can reveal. Inter are keen to continue their United raid after landing Nemanja Vidic while Patrice Evra is also expected to join the ranks in the summer.
The Serie A side have also revealed they are keen to boost their striking options with Hernandez the club’s first choice option. United are open to the move but will look to seal the deal by insisting midfielder Guarin comes to Old Trafford – a move FDN understands could appeal to the Italians with the Colombian falling out with the fans again despite only just signing a new deal. AC Milan and Roma have also recently been linked with the out-of-favour Mexican international, who is keen to leave Old Trafford to gain more regular playing time after a difficult couple of seasons.
Hernandez initially made a great impact at United, scoring 20 goals in his first season at the club, but has struggled to maintain that form since then, falling behind the likes of Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck in the pecking order.
