Three Premier League clubs could look to take Manchester United youngster Nick Powell on loan next season after his impressive displays in the Championship this season.
The 19-year-old is on a season-long loan deal with Wigan Athletic, and has so far contributed eight goals and two assists to aid his side’s cause.
The striker, who can also operate in midfield, is highly rated at United but has faced plenty of competition for a place in the starting lineup, and FootballDirectNews.com understands that he is a likely contender to be loaned out again next season, which looks to have attracted interest from Newcastle United, Swansea City and Hull City.

Swansea and Hull are in something of a relegation fight this season—though they currently occupy 10th and 13th place in the table respectively, but it is thought that United will be keen to ensure Powell is playing in the top flight next year after a season in English football’s second tier. All three sides could do with extra options in attack, with Newcastle seemingly losing confidence that they will be able to land loan signing Loic Remy on a permenant deal from Queens Park Rangers. Other clubs could still join the chase for Powell, who has certainly shown himself to be an exciting prospect this season.
