Tottenham Hotspur target Alexandre Lacazette is disappointed that he was not included in the French national squad ahead of next week’s friendly.

France coach Didier Deschamps decided to leave in form Lyon striker Lacazette out of his squad for the friendly with the Netherlands next season.
The French international has been in fine form this season, scoring 14 goals in all competitions and showing glimpses of his potential. Lacazette was disappointed not to be included, but is focused and hopeful on being involved before the World Cup in Brazil in the summer.
He said in 20 minutes: “I was a little disappointed. But it is the choice of coach and I respect that. ”He added: “It’s the coach’s say.

I am a player of the OL who gives his all for his club. If the coach takes me, great, if not, is that others are better or deserve to go more. ”As a result of his form this season, the 22-year-old has been attracting interest from a variety of clubs, including those in the Premier League. Lacazette was linked with Arsenal and Everton in the January transfer window, though a move never materialised, and Tottenham have now entered the race for his signature in the summer.
