Jose Mourinho will not make a summer move for Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani after learning of his huge wage demands. Cavani has been in superb form this season for French side Paris Saint Germain, scoring 14 goals in 23 Ligue 1 appearances and he has gained interest from the likes of Man United, Real Madrid and Chelsea. However, recent reports stating that the 27-year-old will demand a whopping 280k-a-week to leave PSG have seen the likes of United and Real Madrid halt in their interest. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has long been linked with the former Napoli striker and whilst his availibility is unknown, the Blues were keen to make a summer move. However, [FDN] understand that the Premier League leaders have now withdrawn their interest and will look elsewhere. Mourinho is keen to replace Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and the ageing Samuel Eto’o at Stamford Bridge and has been credited with interest for the likes of Brazilian forward Hulk.
