Tottenham target Eliseu has been offered a new deal to stay at Malaga with the Portuguese full-back’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, according to reports in Spain. Eliseu has been linked with Spurs in the past when fellow countryman Andre Villas-Boas was still in charge. The North London club are short of options at left-back with Danny Rose as the only recognized player in that position with Benoit Assou-Ekotto likely to leave at the end of his loan deal. However, Malaga hold the renewal of Eliseu’s contract as a main priority with time on his current deal running out, according to Opinion de Malaga. With this in mind, the publication states that the Portuguese international has already been offered a new contract and has been given time to contemplate it along with his representative. The 30-year-old has received the offer to continue with on the Costa del Sol and his agent has arrived in Malaga to review it together.
