Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is not interested in leaving White Hart Lane for Monaco after apparent interest from the French club. Lloris has been linked with a move away from Spurs this season after reportedly growing frustrated at continuously missing out on Champions League football. This season media speculation has intensified over the Frenchman’s future after a series of errors in the Tottenham defence have been the downfall of the north London club’s season, seeing them all but out of the race for fourth – seven points behind Arsenal and six behind Everton in fourth and fifth respectively. Newspaper L’Equipe claim that Monaco, who are set to qualify automatically for the Champions League, sitting second in Ligue 1, hold an interest in signing Lloris for next season, however, the goalkeeper is understood to hold no interest in making the move to the French club. The same source has also claimed that Lloris could, instead, be about to make a move to Manchester City with goalkeeper Joe Hart moving the other way as part of a swap deal.
