Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul has dismissed rumours that he could join north London rivals Arsenal on a free transfer in the summer. Kaboul’s contract at White Hart Lane is set to expire at the end of the season and the defender has been linked with a Sol Campbell-like move across the north London divide to Arsenal on a free transfer in the summer. The 28-year-old has suffered heavily from injuries which has limited his game time for Spurs, but the France international has proven to be a solid member of the side when he has been fit. Kaboul, who first joined Spurs from Auxerre, spending a year at the club between 2007 and 2008, leaving for Portsmouth, before rejoining in 2010, took to his official Twitter account to firmly deny rumours of him joining Arsenal in the summer. He posted: “I can confirm 100% that the rumour about me joining Arsenal is not true!!!”Watch UCL Paris Saint-Germain v Chelsea, 2nd April. 24 hour Sky Sports day pass for only 9.99. No contract.
