Tuttomercato claim that Fiorentina have made a serious offer to Napoli for striker Goran Pandev, testing the interest of Tottenham Hotspur. Macedonian striker Goran Pandev joined Napoli in 2011 and although his first season saw him make 41 appearances, the following two seasons have seen him appear as a substitute more than a starter. The arrival of Gonzalo Higuian played a part in Pandev’s drop to the bench and it is fully expected that he will now leave his fifth Italian club this summer. Interest from a number of European clubs has been reported in recent weeks, with Ligue 1 big spenders Monaco leading the way, but it is now understood that Tottenham Hotspur and Fiorentina will re-ignite their long-term interest. Tuttomercato claim that the latter have made a significant bid for Pandev in the past few days, prompting the likes of Spurs and Monaco to pursue their interest.
