Tottenham youngster Cristian Ceballos, currently on-loan at Portuguese side FC Arouca said he will not be handing his parent club any tips ahead of their Europa League clash with Benfica. Current league leaders Benfica were held to a surprise 2-2 draw earlier in the campaign against Arouca in a game that Ceballos started.
Nevertheless, the former Barcelona academy player made it clear that he will be passing no information over to Tim Sherwood about the Portuguese leaders and is fully concentrated on his job to help save Arouca from the drop. “Spurs have their own scouts. Everybody knows what Benfica are about. They are a team admired for the way they play,” Ceballos said to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
The 21-year old also mentioned that he is happy with the attention he is receiving from Spurs and that he has had the chance to speak with Tim Sherwood personally.

After every game, they congratulate me and encourage me. I feel that they are paying attention to my work and have already had the opportunity to talk to the new coach. ”
