Tottenham Hotspur are keen to land Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic by offering the Turin giants flop Erik Lamela at the end of the season, [football] direct news understands. Argentina international Lamela has struggled since his club record 30m deal last summer – with the attacker sidelined with a back injury since the start of the year. Lamela has only made 17 appearances for the north London outfit and could be in line for a return to Serie A after only one season, with champions Juve ready to end his Premier League misery according to a Spurs source. The club insider told FDN that Spurs will demand Montenegro international Vucinic is included in the deal, as well as a significant transfer fee. Spurs chairman Daniel accepts they are unlikely to recoup the large sum of money they shelled out to secure his services last year but are keen to bolster their attacking options.
