Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul has been targeted by La Liga side Sevilla with regards to a summer move. Sevilla are looking to strengthen their defence in the summer with a top quality centre-back that will slot effectively into their squad. According to a Spanish website fichajes.net, officials from the Basque club have been making regular trips to England to run the rule over Kaboul on the behest of coach Unai Emery. Kaboul is in his second spell at White Hart Lane after a two year stint at Portsmouth. The Spurs centre-half has grown into the position and is now a mainstay at the back for the north London club. The 28-year-old Frenchman’s level of performance has not gone unnoticed on the continent and Sevilla are leading the way for his signature. Sevilla are currently fifth in La Liga and had a recent triumph over Real Madrid that seriously dented the capital side’s title aspirations.
