Iago Aspas wants to leave Liverpool in the summer and Spanish duo Valencia and Sevilla have already made enquiries about taking the striker back to La Liga. The former Celta Vigo player has only made 13 Premier League appearances this campaign, with the majority being from the substitutes’ bench while he has failed to score a goal in the league. The 26-year-old does not want to be a bit part player and would prefer a permanent move to either an English or Spanish side. Valencia and Sevilla have been keeping tabs on the player throughout the season and are now set to ask for talks with the club before discussing personal terms with the player’s agency. Valencia prepare a loan move due to their cash-flow problems but Liverpool would prefer to sell the player outright as they have no intention of him returning. Aspas played an important role in Celta Vigo’s survival last campaign, scoring 23 La Liga goals for the Galicians.
