Sevilla are reportedly ready to make a move for Arsenal second-choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski in the summer. Fabianski’s contract at the Emirates Stadium is set to expire at the end of the season and the Pole is expected to move on from Arsenal in search of regular first-team football, having only made 31 Premier League appearances since joining seven years ago. The Pole made only his ninth appearance in yesterday’s FA Cup semi-final against Wigan Athletic, in which he contributed with two saved penalties in the shoot-out to take Arsenal back to Wembley for the final next month. With Fabianski set to leave on a free in the summer, despite having been offered a new deal at the Gunners, Estadio Deportivo report that Sevilla are keen on signing the 28-year-old for next season with a new goalkeeper near the top of the Spanish club’s wish list.
