Sevilla could be interested in signing Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi, currently on loan at Stoke City, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The Moroccan international has not had the best of times in the Premier League since he signed for the Reds from Eredivisie side Heerenveen last season, and could be open to a move away from English football.
Having just made four appearances in the league for Liverpool last season, Assaidi has shown some improvement this season for Stoke, scoring four goals in 24 games in all competitions, including a memorable winner against Chelsea earlier in the campaign. Sevilla are in the market for new wide players this summer as they look set to be dealt the blow of losing a loan player of their own, with Chelsea’s Marko Marin reportedly set to be offered to Sporting Lisbon as part of a deal for the Blues to sign young midfielder William Carvalho from the Portuguese giants. Assaidi could be a good, cheap option for Sevilla as they look to improve their squad, as it seems likely that Liverpool will allow the 25-year-old to leave without too much difficulty.

Brendan Rodgers already appears to be thinking about new signings on the flanks as well, and has been linked today with a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Brazilian star Lucas Moura.
