Former Brazil striker Ronaldo has further hinted that he could take up a role at Paris Saint Germain.
The former Real Madrid and Barcelona goalscorer has been mentioned as a candidate to take up the role of sporting director at the Ligue 1 club, which has been free since Leonardo left last summer.
Ronaldo, 37, is currently acting as an embassador for the FIFA World Cup held in his country of birth, but once again he reiterated his desire to get back into European football. Currently I am part of the organization of the World Cup and after the tournament I will take a little rest, he told Le Parisien. After that I will not coach, I can teach others but I do not want live like that. Being a coach or a player is the same thing. Rather, I see myself in a role of sporting direct, perhaps with PSG. I have a very strong bond with them but we will see after the World Cup. Ronaldo scored 352 goals in 518 appearances during his career, spent with the likes of Inter Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
