Roma have made Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov as one of their summer transfer targets, according to Tuttomercato. The Serbian left-back has been in good form this season but a rotation role with Frenchman Gael Clichy has seen the 28-year-old be linked with a summer move away from Etihad stadium. Whilst it remains unsure whether or not boss Manuel Pellegrini would be willing to sell Kolarov this summer; Italian side Roma are willing to make an enquiry as they seek to improve their defensive options. The Italian side have pushed and pushed Juventus for the Serie A title this season and will embark on a Champions League campaign next season and boss Rudi Garcia is seemingly keen on the Serbian international. Kolarov joined City in 2010 from Lazio and Roma believe that he would be open to a summer return to the Italian capital.
