Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy is edging closer to a summer move to Arsenal after being spotted with Gunners’ officials. The French striker joined Newcastle United on a one-year loan deal last summer from Championship side QPR and he has impressed on all counts, scoring 13 Premier League goals in 23 appearances. Remy who is expected to feature for the French national side in this summer’s World Cup but his future following the tournament in Brazil remains uncertain. The 27-year-old is set to return to QPR once his loan deal is completed but after being spotted in a London hotel with Arsenal officials, Remy could be in line for a move to the Emirates. Arsenal have been interested in the former Marseille man for some time and are desperate to add extra fire power ahead of next season. North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest, whilst it is not yet known if Newcastle will make a summer move.
