Despite being an ever-consistent performer for Los Blancos, Di Maria’s future is very much in doubt and a host of top clubs are lining up to offer the Argentine a new home in the summer, including Arsenal. AS Monaco are thought to be favourites to strike up a deal due to his agent, Jorge Mendes, being a close associate of the Monegasque club’s owner Dmitry Rybolovlev. However, Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is confident of doing business with Real Madrid due to last summer’s successful deals which saw him sign Raul Albiol, Jose Callejon and Gonzalo Higuain from the Spanish giants, according to Sport Mediaset. A bid of around 35million is said to be offered from the Italian club in order to tempt Madrid into a sale. Despite president Florentino Perez being willing to listen to  any big offers for the Argentine, it is believed that manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to have a say in any move as he sees Di Maria as a key component of his squad.
