Juventus could win the race for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot in a swap deal involving Paul Pogba, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
The French giants have long been linked with Pogba, 21, who is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the world at the moment after some superb displays since leaving Manchester United for Turin. PSG may now have come to an agreement with Juve over his transfer, with their own sought-after young midfielder heading to the Serie A giants as part of the deal.
The 19-year-old faces plenty of competition for a regular place in Laurent Blanc’s starting lineup, and has been targeted by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Roma as a result.
However, reports now suggest that Juventus would be interested in signing him if Pogba does leave the club, and a swap deal could now take place when the transfer window opens again in the summer. Other first-team players such as Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Pastore have also been mentioned as possible candidates to move to Juventus as part of any deal for Pogba, but the two clubs now appear to have agreed on Rabiot.
