Paris Saint-Germain are set to rival Arsenal for Borussia Dortmund defender Lukasz Piszczek. The Polish right-back has been linked with a move to north London in the summer, with the Gunners looking for a replacement for Bacary Sagna. The French defender has been in talks with the Gunners over a new contract, although Sagna has been unable to come to an agreement over the length of any potential deal. That has led to speculation about a return to France next season, with Monaco keeping tabs on him. The Gunners are therefore looking at several targets, including Polish international Piszczek. However the Gunner will face competition from Ligue One side Paris Saint-Germain, according to sport.pl. According to the Polish website, the Paris club are ready outbid the Gunners who are willing to offer up to 7 million for the 28-year-old.Piszczek has been capped 35 times by Poland and finished as a runner-up for Dortmund in last season’s Champions League.
