Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a summer move for Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, according to reports.

France Football are reporting that the Ligue One leaders are looking at Toure as an alternative summer recruit for Juventus star Paul Pogba as that deal gets more complicated.

PSG are looking for a world class addition to their midfield this summer and had been expected to land former Manchester United midfielder Pogba .

However, the fee for Pogba believed to be around £55 million and  PSG have confirmed that signing the player could be too complicated.

PSG have identified Toure as an alternative, but would not be able to land the player for less that £30 million.

Toure, 30, has had another dominant season for City, scoring 22 goals from midfield.

The Ivory Coast international joined City in the summer of 2010 after a highly successful spell at Barcelona. He helped City claim their first Premier League trophy in 2012 as well as the League Cup this season.

City are unlikely to want to let the player leave, although they could be helpless should Toure decide he wants a change of scenery.
