Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to sign both Marco Reus and Julian Draxler this summer, according to Bild.
The two attacking midfielders, of Borussia Dortmund and Schalke respectively, are two of the most in-demand players in Europe going into this summer’s transfer window, with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and others all thought to be chasing them. Reus has been a key part of Dortmund’s recent success, helping the club to the Champions League final last season, while Draxler is among the most highly rated young players in the world. Both players would likely command huge transfer fees, with reports that Arsenal were priced out of a move for Draxler back in January, but mega-rich PSG may be one of the few clubs able to meet the valuations for the pair.
The Ligue 1 champions are known to be on the lookout for new signings in the attacking midfield department this summer, with other big names such as Paul Pogba and Miralem Pjanic also believed to be in their sights as the likes of Javier Pastore, Marco Verratti and Jeremy Menez could all leave the club. It could be a difficult summer for Dortmund and Schalke, with other players such as Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Kevin-Prince Boateng also being linked with exits from the respective teams.
