The official representative of Oscar Cardozo has announced that this summer would be the right time for his client to leave Benfica and start another adventure elsewhere. The Paraguayan star has been linked with numerous Premier League clubs over the years and it looks as though there will be an intense battle as to who can land the striker. Manchester City, Tottenham and Everton are just some of the clubs that have been interested in the Benfica striker in recent times.“I think in June it will be a good time for a transfer, if possible,” his agent, Pedro Aldave told Radio Cardinal. Cardozo has an excellent goalscoring record in the Portuguese league having scored 110 times in 171 games. While in all competitions, the 30-year old has managed 170 in 282. He joined Benfica in 2007 from Newell’s Old Boys in Argentina and has gone on to gain a glowing reputation in both Portugal and European competition.
