A lack of confirmation of Jeremy Menez’s proposed move to Juventus has given Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers hope in his pursuit of the French winger. The French international is free to leave Paris Saint Germain this summer, with his contract in the French capital set to expire in June. However, many interested clubs had seemingly ended such interest after Swiss reports had claimed that Italian side Juventus had agreed a deal with the winger. But further reports have seen no confirmation of such a deal that would see Menez return to Serie A, after spending time with Roma in 2011. That has led Premier League side Liverpool to re-ignite their interest as boss Brendan Rodgers looks to add to his attacking options for next season. Menez has lacked playing time for PSG this seaon but is expected to represent the French national side this summer at the World Cup in Brazil.
