Newcastle United winger Hatem Ben Arfa has been lined up for a move to Roma should Miralem Pjanic leave in the summer. The former Marseille player is expected to leave Newcastle this summer after failing to find sufficient playing time under boss Alan Pardew. There are plenty of options for the 27-year-old, with Marseille keen on securing his return as well as interest from Roma. Ben Arfa started the season in good form but has seen his playing time greatly reduced since the turn of the year, appearing as a substitute in six of the club’s last six games. Despite not playing regularly in England, Ben Arfa has still maintained the interest of a number of European clubs, including Italian duo Inter and AC Milan. According to a report in Sports Mediaset, Roma are keen on securing Ben Arfa should Bosnian midfielder Pjanic leave.Pjanic is hot property around Europe with the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund all circling.
