Napoli have entered the race for Japanese star Shinji Kagawa who is nearing a summer exit from Manchester United. United are willing to let Kagawa go this summer as he has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Old Trafford team. The Japanese international arrived at the club in 2012, but has made just 11 Premier League appearances this season. Napoli coach Rafa Benitez is keen on the player and, according to, considers the Japanese international as one of the best available options this summer. Bentez want Kagawa to come in and play on the left side of his attacking midfield, but faces competition from Juventus. With both Juventus and Napoli in the Champions League next season, Kagawa will jump at the chance to leave United and sign for one of the Italian duo. Kagawa is also rumoured to be wanted by his former club Borussia Dortmund who will rebuild their squad this summer with departures with departures expected.
