Napoli have made an approach to Real Madrid for the services of striker Alvaro Morata, according to Mediaset. Since the start this current campaign, reports linking young Spanish striker Alvaro Morata with a move away from Estadio Santiago Bernabeu have gained pace with the likes of Arsenal and Inter Milan showing interest. However, according to Mediaset, Rafael Benitez and Napoli have made contact with Morata and his agent about a summer move. The former Spain U21 international has found playing time hard to come by this season, losing out to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and starlet Jese Rodriguez. That has left the youngster to consider his future in the Spanish capital and although he is happy to join Arsenal, a move to Italy is not out of the question. One sticking point could be whether or not Napoli offer a permanent deal with a buy-back clause or just make a loan offer.
