Manchester United boss David Moyes will get a close up look at Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos in April when the two sides meet in the Champions League. The German midfielder has long been linked with a move to the Premier League with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all credited with interest. But, it is the latter who are keen to pursue a possible move after watching the 24-year-old German international. Discussions over a wage package and a lucrative transfer fee continue, whilst United boss Moyes continues to send his club scouts to Germany to cast an eye. Kroos began his career with Bayern and progressed through the club’s various youth ranks. He eventually made his debut in 2007 before a short loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen. Firmly established in the side last season saw him make 39 appearances but his time under new boss Pep Guardiola has come under questions. Now, after both United and Bayern were drawn together in the Champions League quarter-final, Moyes will get to cast an eye over his long term target in two legs.
