[football] direct news understands that Manchester United boss David Moyes would ideally like to partner Adil Rami and Simon Kjaer at the club next season. Manchester United have struggled this season to maintain consistency under new boss David Moyes but the Scottish boss is planning a number of summer chances that he hopes will move them back amongst the title challengers. One of the areas to change will be defensively, where Moyes will lose Nemanja Vidic [Inter Milan] and Rio Ferdinand [Retirement] and it is understood that he has indicated two experienced European centre-backs as replacements. The first, French defender Adil Rami is currently on loan at AC Milan from Valencia and whilst the Italian club are keen to make the move permanent, it is understood that the former Lille man is keen to listen to United. Secondly, Moyes is growing more and more keen on Danish defender Simon Kjaer.
