Fiorentina are believed to have joined Lazio in hoping to sign Tottenham winger Iago Falque, according to reports in Italy. Falque has spent the season on loan at Spanish side Rayo Vallecano, although a disappointing campaign that yielded just two goals could see Spurs be tempted to cut their losses with the former Barcelona youngster with just a year remaining on his contract. The 24-year-old has made only one appearance for the north London side in the Premier League since joining from Juventus in 2012, where he failed to made a single Serie A appearance in four years. Italian website Lalaziosiamonoi.it, reported over the weekend that Lazio are keen on signing Falque in the summer for a 1.5 million fee, however, the Biancocelesti could face competition with Fiorentina, according to newspaper Corriere dello Sport, also weighing up a move for the winger.
