Monaco are keen on signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer to strengthen their forward line. Lukaku has been in impressive form on loan at Everton this season, scoring 11 Premier League goals to help his club put pressure on the European places. There are plenty of suitors for the Belgian international with Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and several Premier League clubs all monitoring his situation. Lukaku spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion where he scored 17 goals last season. Blues boss Jose Mourinho is reluctant to sell Lukaku to a rival team in the Premier League, but is keen to sell, doubting the player’s big game mentality. According to a report in TMW, Monaco are closing in with a bid in the region of 20 million for the 20-year-old. Dortmund remain a very possible destination for Lukaku as they look to replace Robert Lewandowski who is on his way to Bayern Munich this summer.
