Monaco are ready to snap up Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov this summer, French newspaper Le10Sport reports. The Serbia international is understood to be open to a fresh challenge despite helping the club win their second Premier League title in the space of three years. The 28-year-old only has 12 months remaining on his current deal and with City failing to open talks over a new deal Kolarov is considering leaving the club. Mega rich Monaco plan to rival Paris Saint Germain for the French title next season, while making a splash in the Champions League, and want to add experienced players with a winning pedigree to their squad. Kolarov moved to the Etihad Stadium in 2010 from Lazio and made 44 appearances in all competitions for the club last season.
