The former Manchester City manager is looking to bolster his defence ahead of the new campaign and with the Turkish giants earning Champions League football next season after finish second in the league, a move to Istanbul could be appealing for the Brazilian. Alex is likely to be available on a free transfer as announced by PSG boss Laurent Blanc in front of reporters on Thursday.“Alex is also out of contract, the matter is more complex, but it is likely that he will leave. But perhaps there will also movements with players under contract,” Blanc told reporters. With Mancini keen to do his business quickly this summer, a two-year deal from the Turkish club has already been put on the table for Alex, according to Sport Mediaset. The 31-year-old defender is also attracting interest from AC Milan but having failed to qualify for Europe this season could hamper their chances. Mancini has previously been linked with moves for Liverpool’s Kolo Toure and Manchester City’s Joleon Lescott.
