Former Manchester United maestro Paul Scholes in recent times has been known for his scathing attack on players at the club. However after the 2-0 win away from home against Burnley he was positive about the attacking threat of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood stating that they are one of the best in Europe.

“The front three excite me. I think the front three are as good as any team in the league or any team in Europe when you look at it,” Scholes claimed.

“When Martial is running at you, when Rashford is running at you. Daniel James has been brilliant.”

Was Paul Scholes right to call the attack of Manchester United the best trident in European Football? As with all Paul Scholes comments, we take them with a pinch of salt as he can often change his mind in between games.
What do you think of his comments, are they correct considering the mediocre form of Manchester United this season. Surely Liverpool’s Firmino, Salah and Mane are clear or Cavani, Neymar and Mbabbe for PSG are more of a threat?
