Manchester United are keen on Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, with the young striker expected to leave in the summer.

Morata’s contract at the Santiago Bernabeu expires at the end of next season and the 21-year-old is believed to be frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities at Real, leading to speculation that he will leave in the summer.
Premier League clubs Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Spain Under-21 international, who finds himself below the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and now the emerging Jese, who has impressed in recent weeks.

Morata has now been linked with a move to Man United, who have are set to spend over 200 million in the summer, by Spanish newspaper Marca. Real do not want to sell the youngster, however, they will not want to lose Morata on a free transfer should he opt to see out the remainder of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Morata has made just 13 La Liga appearances this season, starting just once and coming on as a late substitute for most of his other games.
