Schalke defender Saed Kolasinac is reportedly a summer target for Manchester United. According to reports in Bosnian news source, the Premier League outfit are looking at Kolasinac as a replacement for Patrice Evra. The 20-year-old Bosnian has a contract at Schalke until June 2017 and the club are reluctant to sell, but should they receive an official approach they may be unable to resist United’s financial power. Kolasinac has established himself in the Schalke first team after learning his trade in the club’s academy. He has played 28 times for the club this season and has made two appearances for Bosnia and Herzegovina, despite rising through the German youth international ranks. Whether United would risk signing another young foreign left back after the failure of Dutchman Alexander Buttner to stake a claim remains to be seen. United are linked with several left-backs with Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez and Southampton’s Luke Shaw also on the radar.
