Nemanja Vidic is set for his final appearance in a Manchester United shirt after eight and a half years at the club. The Serbian defender has agreed a move to Inter Milan next season and will turn out for United for the last time against Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium on Sunday. United will be glad to see the back of their worst season in a quarter of a century after the failure of the David Moyes experiment. Interim boss Ryan Giggs will select his final line-up after taking over from the sacked Moyes. Defender Phil Jones is injured which means Rio Ferdinand could get a start in what many expect to be his final season before retirement. The Saints will be delighted with their second season in the Premier League and are set to finish in eighth. The biggest task for the Southampton board will be keeping hold of some of their star players and manager next season. The likes of Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw have been linked with moves to Old Trafford while coach Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.
