FootballDirectNews.com understands that Manchester United could be offered Barcelona duo Cesc Fabregas and Pedro Rodriguez as the Catalan club plan a summer overhaul.
The Catalan club have struggled in the second half of the season to match the form of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid as both of Spain’s capital sides battle it out for the La Liga title. Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta have been working behind the scenes to produce a summer overhaul which could see a number of high profile stars leave and some arrive.

Whilst the future of boss Tata Martino remains uncertain, so does a number of players, including Alexis Sanchez, Dani Alves, Cesc Fabregas and Pedro Rodriguez. And, FootballDirectNews.com understands that the latter two could be offered to Manchester United this summer. United have held long-term interest in Fabregas and reports that they were readying a summer bid have now taken further steps, given Barca’s summer plans. Winger Pedro is also a name mentioned with leaving the Camp Nou and following Nani’s deal with Juventus, could be tempting to United’s new boss.
