Manchester City are interested in to signing Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, according to reports in Italy. City were in attendance to watched Lichtsteiner in action against Benfica in Thursday’s Europe League semi-final claim TMW andare interested in a summer move. Lichtsteiner, 30, is believed to have been made available for a fee in the region of 12 million by Serie A champions Juventus. A highly-combative defender adept at going forward, Switzerland international Lichtsteiner has appeared 31 times for Juve this season, scoring four goals.Paris Saint-Germain were looking at him as were Arsenal as a replacement for Bacary Sagna and have now been joined by City. City are linked with several right-back options to come in and compete with Pablo Zabaleta. The likes of Barcelona’s Dani Alves as well as Gunners full-back Sagna have all been linked with a move and Lichtsteiner is just the latest. It could be all change at the Premier League this summer with the likes of Joleon Lescott and Micah Richards expected to leave.
