Barcelona’s Dani Alves has been speaking ahead of his side’s Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid and discussed his future.
The Brazilian defender has been linked with a summer move away from the Nou Camp with both Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain both credited with interest.
However, whilst speaking to reporters at a press conference ahead of Tuesday’s quarter-final tie with fellow La Liga side Atletico Madrid, Alves said he was happy to remain at the club and was ignoring rumours. Barca looking for a right back? They have been for doing that for three years! The club decides but I feel really good here, he said. Alves was then quizzed on recent claims by Madrid based media that Barcelona are favoured by referees and he replied in a joking and controversial manner.
Whenever Barca wins it is due to the refs, but when we lose it is the end of an era. People with lots of opinions about football.
That is most journalists with no practical experience.
There are lots of journalists who just ‘wear a jersey’, who are not objective, who are really Madridistas but dont want to say.
