Italian side Roma are believed to be ready to make an offer for Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, according to reports. Kolarov has interested Roma for some time now with the Serie A runners-up having long been scouting the Man City full-back. Now, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Roma are set to step up their interest in the 28-year-old by making a concrete offer for Kolarov, who is entering the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium. The Serbian international has been linked with a move away from Man City with Kolarov’s future in doubt, with various reports claiming that the Premier League champions could cut the defender from their Champions League squad next season. While Roma could meet Man City’s 10 million valuation of Kolarov, the full-back’s 3.2 million-a-year salary may prove too much for the Serie A side.
