The skillful attacking midfielder has drawn comparisons with Barcelona star Lionel Messi, and although Liverpool have been reported as stepping up their interests in the player, his desire to move to Spain could mean Madrid are now the favourites to land him.
Although there are plenty of talented players in that position already on the books at the Bernabeu, it could be that the likes of Isco or Angel Di Maria are sold this summer to make room for Iturbe.
