The Reds are intent on making the Southampton and England star part of their squad for next campaign and are weighing up an offer in the region of 20million. Southampton will do everything they can to keep Lallana but will find it a difficult task with Champions League football and a major improvement on his current deal from Liverpool. The Merseysiders fear that the Saints will play hardball in order to receive the most financially rewarding deal possible and, in turn, are willing to offer players in exchange. Jose Enrique is said to be attracting interest from Southampton as Mauricio Pochettino lines up possible replacements for Luke Shaw. Liverpool are in the market for a new left-back and are prepared to offer the ex-Newcastle player in order to tempt the Saints into letting go of Lallana. Also set to be offered is Luis Alberto who has failed to make the grade at Anfield since joining from Sevilla last summer. Rodgers is a fan of the youngster and prefers to let the 21-year-old go to Southampton on a loan deal.
