Liverpool are set to miss out on Hoffenheim forward Roberto Firmino after a fellow Bundesliga side made a move. The Brazilian forward has been in superb form this season and has scored 13 times in 24 appearances, assisting on eight occasions. Whilst the 22-year-old has gained interest from the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan, Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool have maintained a long interest in the youngster. However, German newspaper Bild have reported that Wolfsburg are ready to beat any potential suitors and make a summer move. The Bungesliga club currently sit in sixth place and are fighting for a place in Europe but it is reported that they will have a massive 60m available to spend this summer. Firmino is high on their list of targets, along with Kevin Volland and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
